I must admit, this is the first photoshoot that I have actually had a dream about–I was really that excited. Our shoot has been in the works for quite a while now and it seemed like every day I would brainstorm a new idea for a pose, a prop, or a concept. When Mom emailed me a month ago and told me that {S} loved the new Alice in Wonderland movie, and especially the Avril Lavigne video, I knew this session would rock. I’ve been really into theme / styled sessions lately and the idea of an Alice in Wonderland photoshoot got my creative juices flowing. And I couldn’t have asked for a better “Alice”. {S} was such a natural in front of the camera. She endured hundreds (literally hundreds) of mosquitos, mud, and itchy grass. I can’t even tell you how many bugs I had to clone out of these images. But it was all worth it in the end. From “Alice” drinking her tea to The Queen of Hearts, {S} embodied each character so well and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. I’ve included a slideshow instead of my usual sneak peek just because there are too many great ones not to share here on the blog. Enjoy your escape to wonderland!
