in ten months time.

I love what I do. I love that I get to spend time with great families, get to know their little ones, and capture moments that I hope they will cherish forever. This little baby holds a special place in my heart. Little {B} is my dad’s best friend’s granddaughter. She was born just a few weeks after my dad passed away and this weekend was the first time that I got to meet this sweet baby girl.

When I look at her, I see all that has happened in these past ten months. I see joy, I see hope, and I see so much life. She is a reminder to me of all the growth that can happen over the course of the year. And what a beautiful reminder she is. I mean, seriously, she is absolutely stunning! I know you’re not going to believe me, but I’ll say it anyway–I promise I did not even brighten her eyes in photoshop. Those baby blues really are that blue! What a lucky little lady!
