This past Saturday morning I was up bright and early to hang out with these two beautiful kids. Mom was up for an adventure so we traveled to a few different locations to get the perfect shot. We found an awesome creek, great nature trails, and even some snake holes (okay–that part scared me a little bit, but luckily no snakes decided to cross our path that morning). I know I always go on and on about how beautiful my clients are, but seriously, these two are just stunning!
{M} has to have the most beautiful hair I have ever seen. And her personality is absolutely adorable on top of that. Mom and Dad are going to have a hard time keeping the boys away when she’s in high school. Luckily she’s got two older brothers to keep the boys in line because she is just a doll!
{M} only had one request for a pose and it’s the first one in this next series–I just love how it turned out!
I knew I really wanted to capture great images that highlighted their gorgeous eyes.
When Mom found this knocked down light post we knew that we had to use it for something.
I love how the colors of her skirt and parasol pop against the rustic background.
Mom–I had a great time with you all (and even learned a little bit about Nintendo DS–see I’m not totally uncool now!) Your children are gorgeous–they really should be in magazines! I hope you like your sneak peek–I’ll have many more images in your gallery soon!

{C} wasn’t sure that he was as into the whole picture thing as his big sister, {B}, was. But I soon won him over and even caught some amazing smiles–not a small feat with a two and a half year old. By the end of the shoot {C} and I were great friends and he was even teasing me and playing along with my silly games.
These two children had the most amazing eyes and I was so glad to get these close ups images that really showcase how beautiful those eyes are.
I have so many great images of {B} but this is far and away my favorite. I love everything about it–from the colors of her outfit to the look on her face–definitely one for my gallery. Love it!
And I love that Mom agreed when I asked if I could get some images of just her alone. She is just too gorgeous not to photograph.
Mom–thank you so much for the opportunity to photograph your beautiful family. I had a great time and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek–I’ll have the rest of your images ready within a week!
Every time I photograph a newborn I try to get great images of their hands and feet. I love how wrinkly, yet so amazingly soft they are and how their little fingers just wrap right around yours. Baby {S} loved to keep his hands curled tight right under his chin or across his belly…
…until he was given “Walter” the beagle to snuggle. I love this image because as soon as I placed “Walter” in his arms {S} held on tight and wasn’t about to let go. Mom and Dad have two pet beagles at home and I just have a sneaking suspicion that “Walter” is going to be one of those childhood possessions that will always be close by.
Mom and Dad–thank you so much for the opportunity to take these first images of your beautiful son. I had a great afternoon with you and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek. Your online gallery will be up within the week!
Here’s adorable baby {M}.
I just love the looks in their eyes in this next image.
I was able to capture some great photographs of {A} who is such a beautiful little girl–I was so impressed that she left her bows in place for these images! My daughter doesn’t even let me put them on to begin with!
The boys had gotten all of the men these light sabers for Father’s Day. What a fun gift! It was a crack up to watch them all play with them–I wanted to join in on the fun!
Thank you all for inviting me to photograph your beautiful family. I hope you love your sneak peek–your online gallery will be up within the week!
We had so much fun playing in the bamboo and throwing the ball around. What a great backyard for little {H} to run around and play in.
Mom was super successful in getting newborn {C} to fall asleep and once she did she was out! We were able to capture some amazing images without so much as a peep from her.
Mom wanted to get a few of the two girls together. {H} already loves her little sister so much and was very eager to come and give her snuggles and kisses.
I just adore baby {C’s} little fingers on her cheek in this next image. You really do forget how perfectly tiny baby fingers and toes start out.
And Dad, this last image is for you. Happy Father’s Day!
Mom and Dad–you have such a beautiful family. Thank you so much for inviting me into your home to spend the afternoon with you. I hope you love your sneak peek! I’ll have your gallery up within the week.
